Forgotten children 17. chapter

Jeff, his siblings, Benjamin and I were laying on the couch, watching TV and eating pizza and candies (Why we would eat something healthy, when we were allowed to eat whatever we wanted?), when the programme was suddenly intrrupted because of extra news broadcast.

There had been an outbreak of thousands of people and Angels in protests, in Suburbia and five other cities. The Angels were all "stolen" or unreported, and there was rumors that AF-society was behind the protests, so polices had been sent to disperse the protests, altough you could see from the video that almost half of the police officers had changed side and the crowd was winning.

"We have to join in the protest!",Jeff exclaimed exitedly. Jenny looked at her big brother like he had finally gone crazy and sighed: "Idiot, those polices have guns, and soon they will propably ask the army to come here or something. What we, six kids, could do?"

"So what? What if Jessie was Angel, would you just let them take her to some place where she is beaten and abused, without doing anything?", Jeff asked provocatively. "Of course not!", Jenny snapped. "What is different now, then, don`t we have to do anything as long as it is for some unknown person, but we do expect others to come to help us when it comes to Jessie?"

That silenced Jenny. "Alright then, but don`t get into trouble, okay?", she said, already given in. "Of course not, when I had ever been in trouble?", Jeff asked over innocently, and Jenny sighed like she was a mother of childs in defiance age, which, in fact, wasn`t far from truth.
